JMG Machinery’s 4-10 inch RTP tape production line is a complete manufacturing system designed for the production of Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe (RTP), widely used as high-pressure, non-metallic pipelines in the oil and gas industry.
Our RTP tape winding line supports pipe diameters from 4 inches to 10 inches (114mm–273mm) and achieves working pressures up to 32MPa (320bar), making it ideal for onshore oil fields, natural gas gathering, and high-pressure fluid transmission applications.

The reinforced thermoplastic pipe produced achieves working pressure up to 32MPa, fully meeting the stringent requirements of oil and gas field applications.
Our RTP line produces flexible pipes that can be supplied in coils, enabling long-distance seamless installation with minimal joints – a significant advantage over traditional rigid steel pipes.
The production line adopts constant tension automatic control system for tape winding. The human-machine interface allows precise winding angle and tension adjustments across multiple tape layers.
The line consists of inner pipe extrusion unit, multiple tape winding units, outer sheath extrusion unit, cooling system, and take-up winder. Configuration can be tailored to customer specifications and target pressure ratings.
Proved by customer references: constant tension winding ensures uniform reinforcement distribution. A single RTP line can be equipped with up to 16 tape winding heads for multi-layer reinforcement.
