1. Vacuum Calibration Tank

The vacuum calibration tank is used to calibrate and cool the extruded inner liner pipe (core pipe) before the tape winding process.

Technical Features:

  • Double-chamber spray cooling design for efficient heat dissipation

  • Stainless steel construction – corrosion‑resistant and durable

  • Vacuum negative pressure control ensures precise pipe geometry

  • Adjustable spray nozzles for uniform cooling across entire pipe surface

Why It Matters: Proper calibration immediately after extrusion locks in dimensional accuracy. A high-quality vacuum tank reduces ovality and ensures the core pipe meets tolerance requirements before entering the winding section.

2. Haul-off Unit (Caterpillar Belt Type)

The haul-off unit provides sufficient traction force to pull the pipe steadily through the production line. For RTP/TCP lines, two haul-off units are typically required – one after the inner pipe extrusion and one after the outer sheath extrusion.

Technical Features:

  • Caterpillar belt haul-off design for uniform gripping without pipe deformation

  • Servo motor control for precise speed synchronization with upstream equipment

  • Adjustable clamping pressure to accommodate different pipe diameters

  • Upper and lower belt drive for balanced traction

  • High friction belt material to prevent slipping even under high‑load conditions

  • Speed synchronization with winder to maintain constant tension

Why It Matters: Stable haul‑off ensures continuous extrusion without stoppages. When two haul‑off units run at the same speed, the reinforced pipe maintains consistent wall thickness and reinforcement layer integrity.

3. Automatic Pipe Winder

The automatic pipe winder is an end‑of‑line device used to continuously collect extruded pipes and wind them into coils under controlled tension. This is the final stage of the production line.

Technical Features:

  • Double‑station design allows coil change without stopping production

  • Constant tension control – prevents pipe stretching, flattening, or irregular coiling

  • Speed synchronization with haul‑off unit ensures stable line operation

  • Automatic traversing guide for uniform layer stacking

  • Servo‑controlled winding torque adjustment for thin‑wall or flexible pipes

  • Adjustable reel size to match coil diameter requirements

  • Limit switch protection for reliable operation

The automatic pipe cutter cuts the finished pipe to customer‑specified lengths before the winding stage (for coiled products) or after winding (for cut-to-length orders).
